Digital Product Analysis and VPATs
All information technology vendors doing business with UC Berkeley should have an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) for their digital products. An ACR is created when an experienced accessibility evaluator fills out theVoluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT)created by the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI).
If you would like to purchase or design technology products for UC Berkeley employees, students or public access and need support understanding the vendor's ACR or the vendor does not provide one, please email improving-accessibility@berkeley.edu for consultations and include your Buyer and the unit's lead technical or functional owner.
