I can go up and come down without moving. What am I? (2024)

Many would think the answer is Staircase basically as it doesn't move. But Staircase isn't an answer as it neither goes up nor comes down. Only It takes people up and down.
Some people say it to be Sun as generally we consider it to be going up (rising) in the morning and coming down (setting) in the evening. But it can also not be an answer because Actually Sun doesn't move, The planet on which we live moves around.
I believe the answer to be Temperature. Weight can also be a answer but it may go up but not come down easily. So , The answer to the question is Temperature.
Temperature goes up in summers and it comes down in the evenings. But it is not a physical thing so it can't move. So, It goes up and down without moving.
