ITV’s Tour de France commentator, Ned Boulting, is bringing his one-man cycling stage show back to The Lowry.
Back for the first time since 2018,‘Re-Tour de Ned’ narrates the history of the Tour de France and explores how it has become such a well-loved race to this day.
The 28 date tour began Plymouth earlier this month, with reviews describing it as ‘laugh-out-loud funny’.
Boulting is set to invite cycle mechanics on stage for the chance to win special prizes for demonstrating bike building knowledge.
Ned Boulting said:“My last stage show tour was in 2018 so with final rehearsals underway,I’m excited to be getting back out there.Along the way, therewillbe time to call to mind the greatest racers of the age, and to do hopelessly bad impressions of them.
“I’ll hand out copious, thoroughly unreliable, advice on How To Win The Tour de France. Or if not that, then at least How To Watch It On The Telly!”
Ned Boulting’s ‘Re-Tour de Ned’ comes to The Lowry on 6th November.
