Fresh off the back of commentating at this year’s Tour de France for ITV4, we’re delighted to reveal that Ned Boulting and David Millar will be the voices of this year’s Tour of Britain.

Few people have seen more of the modern Tour of Britain than Boulting: he presented the race’s ITV4 coverage between 2008 and 2015, before returning last year on commentary duties.

This year’s race, which starts in Aberdeen on Sunday 4 September, will be just Millar’s second appearance at the Tour of Britain. His sole participation in the event during a career that saw him win stages in all three Grand Tours came in 2008.

Together the pair have become the voices of cycling in the UK. Their podcast, Never Strays Far, topped the Sports Podcast charts in the UK during the Tour de France.Boulting will also be back on the road in October with his Retour de Ned one-man show.

Race fans in the UK will be able to watch every moment of the 2022 race on ITV4 as they exclusively broadcast all eight stages live from start to finish for the fifth edition running. A one-hour highlights show will also be shown each evening. Matt Barbet will once again present the coverage, with Pippa York providing analysis and insight into the racing.

ITV4 is available onFreeview(channel 25),Freesat(channel 117),Sky(channel 120),Virgin Media(channel 118) and theITV Hub(online) in the UK.
