Dean Peterson of Chandler, reported the theft of a tape deck worth $100 from his vehicle while it was at the Western Mall parking lot. Harold Styles, 1405 S. Norton reported the theft of a bicycle worth $40 from his residence.

Betsy Fisher, 1210 W. 9th reported the theft of a bicycle worth $30 from Terrace Park pool. Cindy Hayes of Route 1 Sioux Falls reported the theft of a purse from Nite City Disco, 305 N. Main Ave. The loss was $15.

Crime Tip: 339-7007 Tom Graham. 1314 E. 6th St. reported to Sioux Falls police the vandalism of windows of vehicles at Graham Salvage. The loss was $500.

Frieda Gerry, 1020 N. Summit reported vandalism of the windshield of a vehicle hile it was parked along the 1000 block of N. Summit Avenue. The loss was $200. Area Robert Staeffler LUVERNE, Minn. Robert E. Staeffler, 97, died Sunday at the Mary Jane Brown Nursing Home in Luverne. He was born at Manitawac County, and was married to Erene Hagedorn on Dec. 13, 1906.

She died in 1964. He is survived by six sons, Irvin, Astoria, Robeert, Ellsworth, Leonard, Hardwick, Horton, Orange, LeRoy and Kenneth, both of Edgerton, eight daughters, Myrtle Austin, Daly City, Irene Schmuck, Hardwick, Alice Schmuck, Clatskania, Louise Kieback, Luverne; Vera Durst, Bell, Dorothy Maxwell, Luverne; Agnes Koens, Santa Maria, and Lois Lorenzen, Jasper, 55 grandchildren; 93 great-grandchildren; 11 greateat-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Erna Burgdorf, Kiel, Services were held Wednesday in Luverne. Mrs. Effie Bossman, 87, died Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Center in Lennox. Effie Nuttbrock was born on a farm near Lennox. She married Jerry H. Bossman on Oct.

22, 1912. They farmed near Lennox until retiring into town in 1958. He died Oct. 2, 1970. Survivors include a son, Harvey, Tea, S.D.; a daughter, Mrs.

George H. Wallenstein, Sioux Falls; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Nuttbrock, Salem, two sisters, Mrs. Johanna Jibben, Lennox, and Mrs. Sophie Berglund, Union Lake, two half-brothers, John Kuper, California, and Dick Kuper, Sioux Falls; one half-sister, Mrs. Sadie Hammerstrom, Canton, S.D.; one stepbrother, CD.

Bickett, 55, was dead on arrival at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls Tuesday of an apparent heart attack. He was born on a farm near Beresford, and was a flight instructor fnr an aviation school in Beres Eight people were injured Wednesday in a two-car collision on 1-90 west of Cliff Avenue. A car driven by Kenneth Melum, 65. of Hemet, collided with the rear of a car driven by Helen Oligmueller, 43, of Salem, S.D. All eight riders in the two cars were injured.

your you coulH 3 I Er Deaths Mrs. Charles Folkerts PIPESTONE, Minn. Mrs. Charles Folkerts, 75, died Tuesday at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls. She was born in Pipestone County and was married to Charles Folkerts on June 21, 1927.

They lived at Pipestone for 17 years, later moved to a farm near Jasper, and in 1973 moved to Pipestone. She is survived by her husband, Charles: a son, James, Jasper; two daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Baldwin, Maple Grove, and Mrs. Wilbur Laffrenzen, Rochester, 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild: two brothers. Art, Pipestone, and Henry, Brookings, S.D., and a sister, Mrs.

Raymond Fuller, San Bernardino, Calif. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pipestone. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.

29, 1914. He was employed by the Dixon Store in Scotland for many years, and also worked in Marion, S.D. Mrs. Treick died in 1942. He is survived by two brothers.

He farmed in the area. He is survived by his wife, Magna; three sons, Leo, Luverne; Roger, Lexington, and Larry, Luverne; six daughters, Mrs. Arnold Hansen, Mrs. Dale Hamann, Mrs. Oltman Honken, and Norma Swenson, all of Luverne; Mrs.

Harold Stanton, 85, Rt. 1, died Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Center. He was born in Union City, married Louise Dudley on Nov. 21, 1917, and moved to Watertown, that year. They moved to Sioux Falls in 1924 and to Brandon in 1950.

He retired in 1968 from McKean-Stanton Insurance Co. Survivors include his wife and a sister, Mrs. Madeline Coats, Cold-water, Mich. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Miller Funeral Home.

Stella Johnson was born at Pipes-5 tone, and was married to Virgit; Zenor on Dec. 2, 1909. They lived aC Pipestone until moving to Jasper iig 1912. Mr. Zenor died in 1973.
